Mixed Use Project in Buenos Aires
DESCRIPTION
Project Status: Complete
Start Date: September 2006
Completion Date: January 2010
In September 2006, a 53,819 sq ft / 5,000 m² waterfront parcel was acquired in the Puerto Madero neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and developed for a prestigious international hotel brand.
The scope of work covered the demolition of legacy structures, upgrades to public-service connections, and the end-to-end architectural design and documentation of a landmark mixed-use scheme.
The project totaled 260,486 sq ft / 24,200 m², allocating 201,823 sq ft / 18,750 m² to five-star hotel facilities with the balance configured as branded residences. Upon completion of entitlement and design works, the investment was monetized by selling the fully developed project—land included—in January 2010.
